Voices from the Community

Real stories from 2026 Attendees who have experienced the transformation.

"There are moments in leadership where you feel the stretch... and then there are moments where you see it modeled right in front of you. Sitting in that room listening to John Maxwell—at this stage of my journey—felt like alignment. Not just inspiration. Confirmation. He said: 'Failure is never the problem. Your response to failure is.' Whoa. Because the work I'm in right now? It's growth. It's building. It's stretching systems, people, and myself. And with that comes failure—not as a liability, but as an asset if we choose to treat it that way."

"Got to listen to what some people consider the GOAT in regards to leadership talk today, the John Maxwell. Here are some of the gems he dropped: You can't manage speed, you have to lead speed. The more I hang around the lost, the more I love the lost. If you really want to lead people, Value people, believe in people, & unconditionally love people. You have to have a BIG message. The BEST message changes based on what is needed, the big message is the heart and soul of what you say, your dna."

"Being in this room at Scale with Stability, I keep hearing about systems, growth, and the mechanics of expansion. But as I stood with a beautiful woman this week who told me her story of a campus tree and a dream for therapy animals, I was reminded of why I'm really here. For a long time, I called myself a Brand Photographer. I thought I was there to give you a high-end headshot and a content plan. I was wrong. My mission is Visibility Healing. It's helping people clear the emotional congestion that keeps them hiding."

"Getting in the room and 'proximity' to y'all changed life last year and I had my most profitable year and got to serve 3 conferences with photos and videos for their social content and marketing materials. But I didn't ask for payment. I just asked God to allow me to bless them so they could have the right people find them. And he has given me more than I knew I deserved in return. That puts a big frog in my throat. My soul is on fire today. Alone we do so little, together we do so much."

"One thing that makes conferences amazing is that you get to rub shoulders with, talk to, connect with, get advise from people that you might never get access to any other way. Across tables, in hallways and just saying hi. I heard so many of these high level experts —and others—freely helping and coaching people one-on-one and helping them get clarity. That's part of what makes live event awesome and far superior to virtual events."

"You don't have to have it all figured out to start. This week, these three incredible speakers poured into a room full of business owners, dreamers, and people who are RIGHT in the middle of their story — and here's what stood out: JC Hite said it plainly: iron sharpens iron. The people in the room with you RIGHT NOW may be the answer to the problem you've been praying about. Show up. Connect. Be vulnerable. Adley Kinsman dropped a truth bomb — visibility is not vanity. God gave you a unique story and organic social media is the most powerful FREE tool to share it. You are not too small, too boring, or too late. You just have to start. Chandler Bolt challenged every person with a book on their heart: 81% of people WANT to write a book. Less than 1% do. Don't let your message die with you. Your experience is someone else's breakthrough. To every Christian man and woman just starting out — your chapter one is not a liability. It is your greatest asset."

"Last year I watched online. This year I wanted to be live to connect with others to encourage and be encouraged. There aren't many venues where Christian parent business owners can get together."

"My first time at SWS in person! As a woman of faith, first and foremost, I believe I was led to be here this year. I'm a survivor of many many things meant to destroy me. I'm now the sole provider of care and transportation for two special needs adult children who live on my property along with my 6yo grandson. I became a widow after the pandemic shattered my world and took my husband and best friend, Mike, along with the future we'd planned. This is my first solo road trip in years... it feels incredibly great to be here and to meet so many online friends in person! My life has always been heavy and difficult... BUT GOD! He is the source of my strength, faith, and hope. Jesus is truly the reason. And to be here in the company of so many people of faith drew me."

"This was my first time to hear about it. It was perfect timing for me as I am launching a new company in medical device sales for holistic pain management. The Lord has been telling me the foundation has to be right and I have spent the last year doing just that. Now I'm ready to scale. Plus Christy Wright said she would be there!!!"
